Last week, we welcomed a customer from India who visited Jaten Instrument to learn more about our Video Measuring Machine (VMM) production and applications. The customer is a representative of a precision parts manufacturing company in India, aiming to better understand Jaten’s product quality and technical capabilities.
After a brief introduction meeting, we guided the customer to tour our production workshop. From mechanical assembly and optical lens alignment to software calibration and final inspection, the customer observed every process attentively and expressed great appreciation for our standardized production management.
When witnessing our engineers testing the finished Video Measuring Machine, the customer showed strong interest. He inquired in detail about the system’s measurement speed, repeatability, and automation performance. Our engineer demonstrated the “one-click measurement” function — completing part measurement and data analysis within seconds. The customer was impressed by the speed and precision of the measurement process, noting how it could greatly improve their production efficiency.
After the workshop tour, we led the customer to our showroom, where different models of Video Measuring Machines were on display — including manual, automatic, and composite versions. The customer actively interacted with the machines, tested the touchscreen interface, and explored the automatic edge detection and multi-angle magnification features. He commented that Jaten’s design is simple, intuitive, and very suitable for the Indian market.
The visit concluded with an in-depth discussion in the showroom lounge. The customer highly praised Jaten’s R&D capability and product accuracy and shared his intention to promote cooperation once he returned to India.
This visit not only deepened the customer’s understanding of Jaten’s Video Measuring Machines but also gave us valuable insight into the growing demand for precision measurement solutions in the Indian market.
